Kula Kamala Foundation & Yoga Ashram provides unique volunteer and internship opportunities for individuals with some experience in Yoga or a specialized field such as cooking, gardening, outreach, and graphics. Kindly review the following guidelines and complete the application below.

 

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ONE MONTH SPIRITUAL SERVICE IMMERSION THREE MONTH INTERNSHIP

No minimum commitment necessary.

Minimum shift of 2 hours, to be scheduled by Department Supervisor.

Some positions ask for a consistent weekly schedule of more than 2 hours per shift.

A commitment of one month (30-days).


A weekly service schedule of 35 hours.

 

A 60-minute daily satsang for the first 7 days that discusses spiritual activation via the Kula-Kamala-Yoga method

 

Access to classes and weekend workshops when off hours.

 

Introduction, training and support for developing skills in your respective service position.

 

Service Immersion Interns pay a $300 security deposit

Service Immersion Interns pay a $750 immersion fee

Service Immersion Interns must agree to a background check

Service Immersion Interns must disclose all medications, physical and psychological concerns.

Service Immersion Interns sign a lifestyle commitment agreement.

Service Immersion Interns are dedicated to sobriety during their stay.

Service Immersion Interns are required to attend a minimum of 4 classes/talks weekly during their stay.

An ideal Service Immersion Intern is someone who is interested to deepen their understanding of spirituality, Yoga and healing while also being of service in the ashram environment.

A minimum commitment of three months.

 

Applicant must have completed at least one Spiritual Service Immersion program


A minimum weekly service schedule of 35 hours.

Access to classes and weekend workshops when off hours.

Residential Interns pay a $300 security deposit

Residential Interns pay a $350 monthly residence fee

Residential Interns must agree to a background check

Residential Interns must disclose all medications, physical and psychological concerns.

Residential Interns sign a lifestyle commitment agreement.

Residential Interns are dedicated to sobriety during their stay.

Residential Interns are required to attend a minimum of 4 classes/talks weekly during their stay.

violence, alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, smoking, vaping, essential oil vaping, candles, incense, outside foods, meat, eggs, and gluten are not permitted on the premises.
